![]() The latter gives you an insight into which plugin the sound comes from. On a second interface page, you can search for sounds in a simple browser-by type (bass, keys, lead, pad, piano…) or by instrument. Plus, you get four effects controls: two mod FX, delay and reverb. ![]() There are 4 sound parameters: brightness, timbre, time and movement. It just scratches the surface of this fascinating world. With each of these, you can adjust the sound to fit into your mix without diving into design. Tweak Your SoundsĮach sound now has its color theme with nine defined macro controls. ![]() These come from the current V Collection 9, the Pigments multi-engine Synthesizer, and other plugins. These are, however, all-new for the Play version. Instead of 500, like in Intro/Lite, the Analog Lab Play has only 100 sounds onboard. There are also differences in the number of sounds. But the main difference is that it’s free for everyone-no catch or need of an extra purchase. Like the Lite or Intro versions, the Play is a 100% free, stripped-down version of the Analog Lab V plugin. If you’re expecting a virtual instrument with the option to set the frequencies in mini details or use 50+ filters, you’re wrong here. With the Analog Lab Play, Arturia now offers a new 100% free version of it.Īnalog Lab Play plugin has the word “Play” in its name, which shows where the journey is headed here. Say goodbye to hundreds of parameters and hi to just a few macros and a good selection of sounds. A synthesizer plugin is designed to inspire through its simplicity. The complete opposite is the Analog Lab V. Plus, you can change every sound, giving you endless new sounds. If you add Pigments multi-engine synth to that, you have over 10k ready-to-use sounds. The Arturia V Collection features over 30 virtual instruments in a bundle with over 9000 sounds. Bugs inside Komplete Kontrol are fixed.Arturia has released Analog Lab Play, a new free Synthesizer plugin that features 100+ ready-to-use V Collection and Pigments sounds. ![]() Be sure I don't want to create polemic, it's just a personal opinion, nothing else!Īlso, Arturia by V.R is upto date (even if not indicated as "V Collection 9", you've got " Synths", " Keyboards & Pianos" and " Augmented" bundles).Īt the moment, Pigments and Augmented GRAND PIANO aren't updated by Arturia, however (lastest are October 2022).įrom lastest V.R () I've successfully tested Prophet-5 V, CS-80 V4 and Farfisa V. V.R team untouches files (except patched DLL & VST3 obviously) and doesn't cheat about timestamps on files/folders (R2R always set them to 00:00:00, why?). Concerning Arturia, I precise don't use R2R releases, I prefer "CE-V.R" because R2R uses "emulator" and "vst2-to-vst3" homemade wrappers (why?). In worst case, delete Arturia subkey (I doubt the Registry entries are culprit). Into Registry: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Arturia vst3 files, from %COMMONPROGRAMFILES%\VST3 (and possible Arturia subfolder). dll files are remaining somewhere in your VST2 folder(s) - and check for possible "Arturia" subfolder!Ĭheck also for possible (uninstalled) Arturia. If not in C:\ProgramData, check into C:\Program Files\Arturia, instead!Ĭheck if Arturia. If you don't use Arturia controller (or legit Arturia), delete the Arturia subfolder from %ProgramData% If yes, this mean the uninstall wasn't perfect. Then:Ĭheck if Arturia subfolder exists from %ProgramData%
